The numbers you enter

Every calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser. When you type a salary, hourly rate, or hours worked, that math happens on your own device — the figures are not transmitted to us or stored on any server. Close the tab and they're gone. We have no accounts, no logins, and no way to see what you calculated.

Analytics cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used in aggregate — which pages are popular, how visitors arrive, and roughly where in the world they are. To do this, Google Analytics sets cookies and collects standard measurement data such as your approximate location (from your IP address, which Google truncates), device and browser type, and the pages you view. We use this only to improve the site. We do not use it to identify you personally, and we never combine it with anything you type into a calculator.

Google processes this data as described in Google's Privacy Policy.

Advertising

Salary Converter is supported by advertising. We work with Google and other third-party ad networks to display ads on the site. These networks may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites, and to measure ad performance.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on someone's visits to this site. You can opt out of personalized advertising by Google through Google Ad Settings, and out of many other vendors at aboutads.info.

Affiliate and outbound links

Salary Converter participates in the Amazon Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program. This means some pages — such as the book recommendations in our salary negotiation guide — contain affiliate links to products on Amazon. If you follow one of these links and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This does not influence which products we recommend, and we clearly disclose affiliate links on the pages where they appear. Amazon Associates is the only affiliate program we take part in.

Some pages also link to other free tools we operate and to outside references. Once you follow a link to another site — affiliate or otherwise — that site's own privacy policy applies.

What we don't do

• We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.
• We do not require an account, email address, or any personal detail to use the calculators.
• We do not store the salary or pay figures you enter on our servers.

Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings, and use the opt-out links above to limit personalized advertising. Blocking analytics or advertising cookies will not stop any calculator from working — the pay math runs locally regardless.

Children's privacy

Salary Converter is a general-audience informational site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes and contact
